Steeltown Chowdown is what happens when two friends with a passion for food get together and decide to start blogging. Boasting 25K followers on insta, they’re known for their often hilarious, always honest reviews of Hamilton’s food scene. Focussing primarily on comfort food & easy eats, the ChowDown effect has propelled some of the cities most understated spots into local giants with just a few posts (Ie Golden Tenders & Mr. Grande Pizza).

Todd & Mush, who first met in Grade 5, discovered a mutual love and passion for food and in 2017, just started writing about it. Since then they’ve posted almost 2000 reviews and tips on their insta feed covering everything from new openings to OG Hamilton eats established when steel was still thick in the air.

One thing that sets them apart from the rest is their no-hold bared approach. If they don’t like something they won’t skirt the issue, leaving you with honest opinions. Of course, they are two dudes with day jobs who enjoy Tim Hortons as much as Gourmet Doughnuts, but if you’re like us and just enjoy every day eats, these are you guys.
